Meat Carcass Sampling

Designed to comply with Food Standard Agency recommendations for carcass sampling, EU regulations on Microbiology criteria for mfoodstuffs EC (No) 2073:2005 and internation sampling methods ISO 17604:2003.

Ready-to-use, self contained kits for the environmental sampling of meat carcasses. The Carcass sampling sponge comes in a sterile kit with no additional preparation required. Kits are pre-moistened in recommended media, supplied in convenient cellulose sponge format. Depending on test protocol they are suitable for total viable count (TVC) and Enterobacteriaceae (including Salmonellae and E.coli) from the surfaces of beef, pork, lamb and other meat carcasses.
