Description
For Patient use - Probact Amies Charcoal medium in tube, includes Polystyrene shaft/Polyester tip swab in peel pouch (M40 compliant).

Recommended For:
clinically significant samples, but can be used to transport most fastidious & non-fastidious Micro-organisms.

Ideal For:
48 hour transport of microbiological samples (including clinical) for fastidious, non-fastidious, aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms including:

Pseudomonas spp., Streptococcus spp., Haemophilus spp., Bacteroides spp., Peptostreptococcus spp., Fusobacterium spp., Propionibacterium spp., Prevotella spp., Neisseria spp., anaerobes, microaerophilics.

Known Limitations:
1. DO NOT REUSE. Single use Device that is not suitable for re-work or reuse.

2. Recovery after 48 hours will be unpredictable and target organisms will be lost.

Shelf Life: 2 years.

Sterilisation Method:
Gamma Irradiation to achieve a SAL of 10-6
