For Patient use - Chlamydia Swab Kit - Male and Female Swabs in Peel Pouch. Contains Plasticised Paper Shaft with Cotton MiniTip (Male) and Polystyrene shaft with Viscose Tip (Female).

Ideal For: Chlamydial swabbing

Shelf Life: 2 years.

Sterilisation Method:
Gamma Irradiation to achieve a SAL of 10-6

Applicable Standards:
CE Marked : Class I Sterile medical device. 

Known Limitations:

1. DO NOT REUSE. Single use Device that is not suitable for re-work or reuse.

2. Certain viruses and Micro-organisms are sensitive to cotton so immediate transfer is recommended to prevent cell stress or no recovery.

3. DO NOT USE if the outer packaging or seal shows signs of damage or incomplete.

4. DO NOT USE if there is no product identification or LOT number present on pouch.

5. DO NOT USE if LOT number is illegible or device is past expiry date.

6. DO NOT USE if swab bud or shaft appears damaged or broken.

7. Applying excessive pressure during use may lead to failure of the shaft.
