Recommended For: environmental and hygiene monitoring where chemical residue neutralisation is desired. Sponge Sampling. Ideal For: surface sampling for hygiene monitoring and control programs. Excellent recovery of organisms including: TVC, Listeria spp., Staphylococci, Enterobacteriaceae eg Salmonella, E.coli (E coli / ecoli / e. coli), Enterobacter, staphylococcus, klebsiella, E. coli Enterobacter, Enterobacter sakazakii Known Limitations: 1. Neutralisation is limited to surface residues. 2. On rare occasions, some settlement of suspended ingredients may occur leading to coloured precipitate on sponge/pouch particularly corners. Gentle massage sponge through pouch before use. 3. Once sampling is complete, surfaces must be wiped before use. For direct food sampling use TS/15-B:NaCl or TS/15-B:PSD Shelf Life: 14 months Sterilisation Method: Gamma Irradiated to achieve SAL of 10-6 |
