Description
For Patient use - Probact Amies Clear medium in tube, includes Woodstick shaft/Cotton Tip swab in peel pouch (M40 compliant)

Recommended For:
General swabbing, wounds etc.

Ideal For:
24 hour transport of microbiological samples (including clinical), for fastidious, non-fastidious aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms including:

Pseudomonas spp., Streptococcus spp., Haemophilus spp., Bacteroides spp., Peptostreptococcus spp., Fusobacterium spp., Propionibacterium spp., Prevotella spp., Neisseria spp., anaerobes, microaerophilics.

Known Limitations:
1. DO NOT REUSE. Single use Device that is not suitable for re-work or reuse.

2. Recovery after 24 hours will be unpredictable and target organisms will be lost. Fatty acid sensitive strains will give decreased recovery or be stressed in the presence of cotton.
