Recommended For:

clinically significant samples, but can be used to transport most fastidious & non-fastidious Micro-organisms

Ideal For:

24 hour transport of microbiological samples (including clinical), for fastidious, non-fastidious and anaerobic microorganisms. Small for internal post use.

Known Limitations: Recovery after 24 hours will be unpredictable and target organisms will be lost. Fatty acid sensitive strains will give decreased recovery or be stressed in the presence of cotton.
Shelf Life: 2 years

Sterilisation Method:

Gamma Irradiation to achive a SAL of 10^-6
