Description
For Patient use - Probact Amies Clear in tube. Includes polystyrene breakpoint shaft at 45mm with Viscose Tip Swab in peel pouch (M40 compliant)

Recommended For: Urethral sampling, ENT Sampling.
Clinically significant samples. Can be used to transport most fastidious & non-fastidious Micro-organisms.

Ideal For:
24 hour transport of microbiological samples (including clinical), for fastidious, non-fastidious, aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms including:

Pseudomonas spp., Streptococcus spp., Haemophilus spp., Bacteroides spp., Peptostreptococcus spp., Fusobacterium spp., Propionibacterium spp., Prevotella spp., Neisseria spp., anaerobes, microaerophilics.

Breakpoint included for convenient sample removal & further analysis.

Known Limitations:
1. DO NOT REUSE. Single use Device that is not suitable for re-work or reuse.

2. Unsuitable for certain sample areas (body cavities, twists, bends or where poor visibility is experienced) due to the inclusion of a breakpoint.

3. Recovery after 24 hours wil be unpredictable and target organisms will be lost.
